• Day 24 – Barn-tastic!

For years, I have passed this barn or what looks like a barn, and wondered it would be cool to renovate and convert it into a cool home. Just think of the square footage, the amount of space you could have, the lofted bedrooms, the huge open kitchen, the gigantic family room, and all the private, cozy spaces.  And the best part about it that no one viewing the barn from the outside would ever know there’s a really nice home inside.  Today, I saw rain clouds forming, and I thought about taking a picture of this barn.  I got into my SUV, and drove over to it. It’s only like 5 minutes away.  Just like I thought it would look–the barn had dark clouds glooming, and the roof slightly wet.  I pulled over on the side of the road; turned on my flashers; pulled out my tripod; and shot this beauty!  Humm, I wonder if it is for sale.

Nice picture. The gray clouds give the picture a very nice mix.

I have heard it said that for a photographer, “every cloud has its moment”. With just a hint of blue sky in the distance, this dark, roiling cloud is a great contribution to the photo. “Bravo!” for taking the time to go get this photograph.

Thank you! I love clouds and barns!
